Founded in 2003 by husband-wife team Yoav (musical director) and Miri (producer) Polachek, Shira NYC specializes in Israeli music productions in North America. The Shira NYC band brings today's hottest form of Israeli entertainment - shira betzibur/Israeli sing-along - to New York and beyond. Shira NYC Productions bring well-known Israeli artists to perform for American and Israeli audiences throughout the USA.

Shira NYC is an Israeli music event like no other. Whether in sing-along style accompanied by computerized, colorful lyrics that are projected on a large screen, or as an energetic performance without audience participation, our singer and band take the audience through 50 years of Israeli favorites, ranging from Palmah to Israeli Army Band songs, from 1970s disco to 1990s Israeli pop, rock and Mizrahi.
